After numerous delays and a year of negotiations District 142 is pleased to announce a tentative agreement with Air Canada covering the Aircraft Mechanics in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The proposed agreement provides for no increase in medical premiums, additional endorsement premiums, a new classification pay grade, retro pay back to 2011, and a pay increase of 25.5% over the life of the agreement.
The District would like to thank negotiations committee members Peter Demello, Mel Egusa, and John Kalani for their dedication and efforts negotiating this agreement.
A ratification vote will be held on Friday December 12, 2014 at the Air Canada Maintenance Shop. The polls will be open from 9am to 3pm.
The Negotiating Committee unanimously recommends a “yes” vote for this agreement.
