Mediation resumed in ORD, August 13, 14 and 15, 2019, under the auspices of the NMB with Mediator Jane Allen. Present for the Company were Bob Frisch, Chief Operating Officer, Jeff Bethune, VP Financial Planning and Analysis, and Tina Vos, Managing Director Human Resources. Present for the Union were Rich Johnsen, Grand Lodge Representative, John Werkmeister, Grand Lodge Representative, and Negotiation Committee Members Seneca Harris, Jason Saledas, Allan Ross and Gary Vargo. The meetings were constructive and encouraging.
We are reviewing the last documentation provided by the company and are optimistic we will be able to bring our negotiations to a conclusion and allow the membership to vote on an agreement that would provide better benefits and the job protections we have been fighting for.
