ALASKA AIRLINES NEGOTIATIONS

Sisters and Brothers:

The joint Alaska Airlines Negotiating Committee continued negotiations with Alaska Airlines management June 4-5, 2019, in San Francisco, California.

Represented by the Company were: Shane Tackett, Executive Vice President/Strategic Planning; Jenny Wetzel, Vice President/Labor; Wayne Newton, Vice President/AOCS; Jason Berry, Managing Director/Cargo; Jeanne Davis, Director/Call Centers; Bob Hartnett, Director/Labor; Denise Kliskey, COPS Labor Manager; Rebecca Meissner, Senior Attorney; and Melinda Maher, Director/Corporate FP&A.

Joining your Negotiating Committee were: Kris Hannah, Grand Lodge Representative; Richard Pantoja, Grand Lodge Representative; and Brianna Gregory, Grand Lodge Representative.

Discussion this week pertained to all outstanding issues, including: Work Security (Scope), wages and benefits. Significant progress was made in defining the open issues and further clarifying the positions of the parties.

The following articles reached Tentative Agreements:

COPS Article 23, Pension Plan
COPS Article 25, Insurance
RSSA Article 20, Retirement
RSSA Article 22, Insurance

The progress made this week brings us closer to an agreement worthy of you, the award-winning employees of Alaska Airlines.

The parties have agreed to meet next week, June 11-12, 2019, in Seattle, Washington.
