Sisters and Brothers:

The joint Alaska Airlines Negotiating Committee continued negotiations with Alaska Airlines management August 14 -16, 2018, in Washington, D.C.  This session was dedicated to COPS contract issues.

Joining the Negotiating Committee were: James Carlson, Assistant Airline Coordinator; Kris Hannah, Grand Lodge Representative; and Brianna Gregory, Grand Lodge Representative.

The Committees exchanged proposals for the following articles:

6 – Part Time **Tentative Agreement**

7 – Overtime **Tentative Agreement**

14 – Sick Leave

28 – Home Agent **Tentative Agreement**

The significant progress made during this session brings us much closer to narrowing our non-economic issues that remain open.

The next negotiations session is scheduled for September 11-13, 2018, in Seattle, Washington.

There is one source of official communications regarding these negotiations – that is those issued by your Negotiating Committee.

Remember: United we stand, divided we beg.

In Unity,
