I am pleased to announce the addition of another representative for the Alaska membership. Effective October 1, 2018, Jason McAdoo will be the Special Representative assigned to the Alaska Airlines membership. His primary assignments will be all the Alaska Airlines locations in the state of Alaska, along with a few other assignments. I truly believe Jason will be a great asset to the membership at Alaska Airlines!
Jason has a long history of Union leadership. He has been a ramp serviceman since 1997, shop steward since 2000 and has served on the shop committee in both Local 2263 and 2202. He has been an officer of Local 2202 and has been on the negotiating committee for the 2006, 2010, 2012 and the current contract. In addition to those positions, he is the District 142 Safety Representative for Alaska Airlines and a member of the Joint Air Transport Safety Committee (JATSC).
We welcome Jason as our newest representative and I am sure he will do a great job for our members.
