ATLANTIC AVIATION PNE Negotiation Update

To the PNE Membership:

The expiration date of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) of June 15, 2020 is fast approaching. Your Negotiating Committee, comprised of Bobby Sullivan, Christina Hernandez, and me, were in the process of establishing future dates for direct negotiations with the Company when the COVID-19 Pandemic reached, and spread, across the United States. The devasting effects of this pandemic has driven strict Local, State and Federal restrictions to our lives, changing our understanding of “normal” and disrupting our daily way of life. With these disruptions, it is clear that normal negotiations will not be able to begin before the expiration of the Current CBA. The Company and the Union have entered into an Extension Agreement until such time that the uncertainties and logistical issues related to the ongoing COVID-19 have been addressed, providing the ability to safely assemble to begin negotiations. The extension is in place until September 1, 2020. The Company and the Union will continue to monitor all restrictions with the intent to engage in negotiations.

With this extension, a call for contract proposals is now being made. All proposals are to be submitted on a Contract Proposal Form and received in the District office no later than June 26, 2020. When submitting more than one proposal, please use separate forms. Contract Proposal Forms can be obtained from Bobby Sullivan or Christina Hernandez, completed and then returned back to them; e-mailed to me at as a PDF attachment; or mailed to Air Transport District 142, 400 NE 32nd Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64116.

We will keep you informed on future developments.

With best wishes, I remain

Fraternally,

Bill Wise
General Chair
