On Tuesday, July 11, 2017, the Atlantic Aviation membership at Philadelphia Northeast Airport ratified their tentative agreement by a large majority of the members voting. With this approval, all improvements, enhancements and increases are fully retroactive to June 15, 2017.
I would like to thank your Negotiating Committee, Bobby Sullivan and Christina Hernandez, for the hard work they did preparing for and participating in these negotiations. I would also like to thank the membership for their participation with their input during the request for proposals and the support they showed this committee. When this was all brought together, you secured improvements such as increases in pay and premiums across the board for all classifications, improvements in the Attendance Control Policy and Bereavement Leave and a Signing Bonus, to name a few.
The process of drafting a new Collective Bargaining Agreement has begun and when complete, proof read and signed, copies will be made for the membership. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact Bobby Sullivan, Christina Hernandez or me.
