To the TEB Membership,
As reported on the July 3, 2019 Bulletin, your Negotiating Committee has continued to work on the ratification process for the Tentative Agreement (TA). The TA has been proofread, printed and mailed to the TEB Stewards to be distributed to you, the membership, for review. Additionally, the TA can be viewed on the District 142 webpage, www.iamdl142.org . Your Committee has set a schedule for a series of Ratification Meetings to be held at the TEB operations on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Members of your Negotiating Committee will be available throughout the day to answer all questions on the TA. A Ratification Vote will take place on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. The polls will be open from 0600 to 1600 in the Conference Room on the 2nd floor.
This TA was a combined effort of your Negotiating Committee and you, securing many of the important issues you sent to the Committee during the requested for proposals in April of this year such as Significant Base Wage increases, increased premiums and shift differentials as well as increased Bereavement. With full retroactivity, your Committee unanimously recommends this TA.
