Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAM negotiations committee, which consists of CommutAir flight attendants and IAM representatives Lisa Ferm and Mark Diefenbach along with IAM General Chair Sara Gonzales, met with the Company to continue negotiations November 7-8, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Throughout the session, your IAM negotiating committee passed proposals on the following Sections:
- Section 3 – General
- Section 6 – Training
- Section 16 – Investigations
The Company is continuing to review our proposals on these Sections and we look forward to receiving their responses. In addition to developing and presenting the proposals listed above, we also reviewed the contract proposals that were submitted from the membership. Many of the issues covered in these Sections will impact your quality of life. Understandably there is major concern regarding Section 4 – Compensation and this will be addressed, but it will be toward the end of negotiations.
We greatly value your feedback, so continue to engage your representatives regarding negotiations. We appreciate your unity and support!
