COMMUTAIR NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE

Sisters and Brothers:

Your IAM negotiations committee, Lisa Ferm and Mark Diefenbach along with IAM General Chairperson Sara Gonzales, met with the Company to continue negotiations May 15-17, 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio.

We exchanged proposals on the following Sections:

Section 5 – Scheduling

Section 3 – General

As we continued to work on the Scheduling section this week, we passed a complete proposal and then focused primarily on updating the language regarding bidding and improving the commuter clause provisions. This section is a challenge in negotiations not only because it affects your daily working conditions but also due to the size of the section.

We also passed a proposal on General section and received a counter proposal from the Company. There is only one remaining issue that we have not been able to reach agreement on yet.

We know wages and overall compensation are also a great concern and we will be addressing those concerns in future sessions.

We are looking forward to continuing to reach agreements on the individual Sections and move towards bringing you a Tentative Agreement.

We greatly value your feedback, so continue to engage your representatives regarding negotiations. We appreciate your unity and support!

We will be meeting again June 4-6, 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio.

In Solidarity,

Sara Gonzales
