Sisters & Brothers:
Your IAM negotiations committee, Lisa Ferm and Mark Diefenbach along with IAM General Chairperson Sara Gonzales, met with the Company to continue negotiations July, 23-24, 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio.
We passed proposals on the following Sections:
Section 5 – Scheduling
Section 7 – Expenses
We continued to work on the Scheduling section with multiple proposals back and forth. We have agreed to the majority of this section with just a few outstanding issues we have not yet resolved. Section 7 Expenses was also opened this week and is directly tied to your quality of life. We are awaiting a response from the Company.
As you know we passed proposals on the Sick Leave and Vacation sections in our last session. We are awaiting responses from the Company, however the Company has indicated since both are tied to overall compensation, we may need to wait until the Compensation section has been opened.
We know wages and compensation are of the utmost concern and plan to open that section in upcoming sessions.
We greatly value your feedback, so continue to engage your representatives regarding negotiations. We appreciate your unity and support!
