DISTRICT 142 EAP READY TO SUPPORT AMERICAN AIRLINES MEMBERS IN BOS

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

District 142 has learned about the passing of one of our members from American Airlines in Boston this week. Our thoughts are with their family, friends, and coworkers who are dealing with loss and grief.

Please know that you are not alone. Your union is here to support you in any way we can. Grief affects everyone differently, and when the effects are overwhelming, it can be hard to manage your daily pressures, especially at work.

District 142’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to all members. Whether you need support with grief and the emotional effects of loss, or just someone to talk to, Paul Shultz, District 142 EAP Director, and his team of EAP representatives are ready to help. You can contact Paul directly through his 24-hour confidential voicemail at (704) 907-3563 or by email at pm.shultz@att.net.

Remember, the IAM is like family. We support each other through good times and bad. Don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re here for you.

Sincerely and fraternally,

John M. Coveny, Jr.
President/Directing General Chair
John Bidoglio
