Dear Sisters and Brothers:
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of one of our IAM District 142 members who worked for PSA Airlines in Charlotte, NC. Our thoughts are with their family, friends, and coworkers during this incredibly difficult time.
We understand that grief affects everyone differently, and the burden of such a loss can feel heavy, especially in a close-knit workplace. Please remember you are not alone. Your union stands with you, and we are here to support you in every way we can.
Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is open to all members who need someone to talk to, guidance through the grieving process, or support managing the emotional effects of this tragedy. Paul Shultz, District 142 EAP Director, lives in the Charlotte area and can be on-site at the airport if needed. You can also reach Paul directly via his 24-hour confidential voicemail at (704) 907-3563, or by email at pm.shultz@att.net. He and our EAP team are fully dedicated to helping you handle this time with care, compassion, and confidentiality.
The IAM is more than just a union—we’re a family. During times like these, it’s important to support each other. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here for you.
