Air Transport District 142 is eager to announce the IAM Young Workers Summit coming to the District headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. This exciting Summit is scheduled as follows:
➢ Monday, January 13 and Thursday, January 16, 2025, as travel days; and
➢ Tuesday, January 14 and Wednesday, January 15, 2025, for Summit engagement.
The IAM Young Workers Committee is composed of dedicated representatives from across our nation. They have successfully researched and devised recommendations regarding the state of young workers’ engagement and laying a foundation for the essential continued success of our union. This Summit will continue the work of creating strategies, implementation recommendations and next steps in fostering relationships with Young Workers for the strong future of our union.
We are urging all D142-affiliated Locals to sponsor and send at least one (1) Young Worker (aged 35 or under), in membership good standing, to this vital Young Workers Summit. Additionally, we request the time off and related expenses to be accepted by each Local.
Enrollment: The enrollment deadline is Sunday, December 15, 2024. To receive an enrollment packet, please submit your attendance intentions with each member’s full name, personal phone number and personal email address to .
