Dear Sisters and Brothers:
IAM District 142 is pleased to announce that we have reached an Agreement in Principle with Allied Aviation for the SAT, DCA, and LGA stations. This marks an important step forward and reflects the hard work, persistence, and unity shown by our negotiating committee and, most importantly, by the members who stood together throughout this process.
The next step is to finalize the language and formally sign the Tentative Agreements (TAs). Once that is complete, the full TA documents will be posted for the membership to review. District 142 will also schedule informational meetings to ensure members have the opportunity to ask questions, receive clear explanations, and fully understand the details of the agreement before voting. Information regarding meeting dates, times, and locations will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
Details on how and when the ratification vote will take place will also be announced shortly. The ratification vote will be conducted electronically, ensuring that all IAM members in good standing have the opportunity to participate and have their voices heard in a fair and secure process.
District 142 would like to sincerely thank all members for their continued solidarity, patience, and engagement throughout negotiations. Your unity makes a difference and strengthens our ability to secure meaningful agreements. Your District 142 leadership unanimously recommends a YES vote on this agreement, believing it represents a positive step forward for the membership.
