Dear Sisters and Brothers:
After careful review and discussions with leadership from Locals 1725 and 1903M, District 142 has implemented an organizational realignment to better support our members and strengthen representation across the district.
District 142 members covered under the TWU-IAM Association MLS Agreement at American Airlines, who are currently assigned to Local 1725, have been transferred to Local 1903M. Aligning these members with the Mechanic & Related members at American creates the best structure for consistency, representation, and operational clarity.
Both Local presidents involved in this realignment reviewed the plan and fully support the transfer. This cooperative approach ensures continuity, minimizes disruption, and puts our membership in the strongest position moving forward.
This transition is effective as of January 31, 2026.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we implement this change. Our goal remains the same: to ensure every member receives strong, consistent representation and to maintain the highest standards of unity and service within District 142.
