Brothers and Sisters:
As you may have seen, ExpressJet has been given tentative approval by the US Department of Transportation (DOT) to restart operations as an independent carrier. We are currently in communication with the Company to find out how this may impact our IAM ExpressJet flight attendants who are all currently furloughed. Under the utmost optimism, it seems this would be a substantially smaller operation, but we plan to continue to get more information and keep you informed. There’s a call planned this week and we hope to give you more information at that time.
