The District 142 ExpressJet ratification count concluded today, Wednesday, July 18, 2018. Present for the count was Clyde Haynes, District 142 VP – Southwest Airlines, Bob Reott, District 142 VP – American Airlines and Dina Burke, Recording Secretary, Local 561. We had 76% of the membership participate in the election, with 38% yes votes, 62% no votes.
With the majority of the voters rejecting the tentative agreement, the agreement has failed to ratify. We will advise the company and the National Mediation Board of the results. More information on our next steps will be communicated in future communications.
