We know many have heard the news of ExpressJet filing an application with the DOT to launch independent service. The Company was not expecting this to be public at this time and their application has not yet been approved. However, the IAM is still the bargaining unit for the flight attendants and per the agreement, furloughed flight attendants need to be recalled before any new ones are hired off the street. Once there is something more definitive, there will be another bulletin sent out with the details posted on our website.
