Effective July 1, 2015 ExpressJet Flight Attendant Marche Johnson Cooper (ATL based) has been appointed to the position of Special Representative for IAM Air Transport District 142. Sister Johnson Cooper has been assigned the ATL, DTW and DFW(CRJ) bases. Her responsibilities will include the administration of the CRJ Collective Bargaining Agreement for those bases, working with your grievance representatives and handling of grievances at levels above the local grievance representative level. She will also continue her role on the JCBA negotiations committee.
General Chair Sara Gonzales will assist Sister Johnson Cooper in the transition of CRJ grievances and will continue to guide and assist in the CRJ grievance process as needed. In addition, Special Representative Melissa Brennan will begin to assist Sister Gonzales in the ERJ grievance process at levels above the local grievance representative level.
This team has been assembled to address the multiple concerns with the Company’s CBA violations along with the many issues that have resulted since the merger. We look forward to continuing to uphold our collective bargaining agreements and reaching another industry leading contract for ExpressJet flight attendants.
Fraternally,
David Supplee
