Dear Sisters and Brothers:
On May 1, 2023, District Lodge 142 launched a new initiative to migrate all of the district’s grievance dockets to a virtual platform that we have named the Grievance Manager Program, or GMP for short. With the launch of GMP, we asked that all Committeemen, Chief Stewards, Stewards, and anyone additional with a role in contract administration that files grievances to go to the district website (https://atd142.org/grievance-manager-sign-up-form/) to submit the needed information to have their profile created in the program. To date, we have received that information from 337 IAM members who are ready to move forward with getting their profiles and online training opportunities.
We believe there are some 150+ more stewards out there who have not signed up and who need to do so immediately. This coming Monday at approximately 1700 EDT, the online profile submittal portal will be shut down. All Stewards who have not submitted their information at the link above by that time, will not receive a profile, and will no longer be able to file grievances until they receive a profile to use GMP.
If you have submitted your information, please take a moment to check with the other Stewards in your bases to make sure they also have submitted theirs. The use of another member’s profile/login is not allowed and will result in suspension of privileges. Please go to the link in this bulletin and submit your information so as not to delay your participation. We thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
