As of today, the language changes contained in the recently reached Tentative Agreement are being released to the membership. Copies of the Tentative Agreement will be available from your Negotiating Committee members. Please contact a Negotiating Committee member to obtain a copy.
A ratification vote has been scheduled and will take place on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at the Local Lodge 1894 building near JFK airport. It will take place between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. At the vote, you will have an opportunity to hear a complete explanation and have any questions you may have answered by the Negotiating Committee. As there are no provisions in any by-laws for absentee balloting to occur, the ratification vote must be conducted by secret ballot. This means you must show up in person to vote.
