IAM/ALLIED AVIATION DCA MEDIATION UPDATE

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

Negotiations continued this week with Allied management for your DCA contract. The meetings were virtual, with NMB Mediators Mike Tosi and Gerry McGuckin again leading the discussions.

Very little progress was made at this meeting due solely to the Company’s insistence on putting forth concessionary proposals. The Company has continued using their lawyer (Frank Brennan) whose only contribution to these negotiations thus far is to be obstinate. No explanations, valuations, or justifications for any of their concessionary proposals. No indication that they are willing to move from this position. Just give us what we want, and they aren’t interested in your interests at all.

These meetings again fell apart and turned into a shouting match much like the last meeting. I must state again as in the last bulletin, this Company under the leadership of Owner Bob Rose’s son, Ed Rose, has unfortunately become a relationship that is not centered on doing the right thing by its employees. That is the primary reason these negotiations are not anything like you have experienced in the past.

At this point we have no future dates for meetings scheduled. With this respite, we will be engaging with the Air Transport Territory leadership concerning any next steps taken in these negotiations and I will update you as information becomes available. In the meantime, if you have any questions about the contents of this bulletin, please reach out to your negotiating committee member or your General Chairperson, James M. Samuel, at or (859) 653-4037, for additional help or information. Thank you for your patience and commitment. With best wishes we remain

Sincerely and fraternally,
