The current Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) between the TWU/IAM Association and American Airlines is scheduled for early-opener negotiations in September 2024. As such, your IAM District 142 negotiations team, including subcommittees, has been named and previously published, and preparations for negotiations have begun.
The next step in the process is the official Call for Contract Proposals. Submitting contract proposals is one way for you, the membership, to get directly involved with the negotiations of your contract.
Contract Proposal forms for all four (4) District 142 contracts at American: M&R, MLS, MTS, and MCT, along with links to the online proposal forms for each contract are available on the DL 142 website. Scan the QR code or click the link below it to access the forms.

Please fill out a separate form for each proposal and mail them together to the address on the form, or hand them to an IAM Shop Steward, Committeeman, or General Chair. For online proposals please submit each one separately as well. The deadline for submitting proposals is February 9, 2024.
As the negotiation schedule is confirmed, we will update you on the dates and continuously update you on our progress. Our goal will be to reach an industry-leading Tentative Agreement for our members to vote on.
