Dear Sisters and Brothers:
On Wednesday, May 28, your representatives from the International and District 142 negotiating team met with Air Wisconsin.
The purpose of this was to have a face-to-face meeting and get an update on the state of the airline. Along with this, we verified where we stand in regards to the tentative agreements that we have negotiated to this point and discussed all remaining open items excluding financials. The company gave us an update of where they’re at economically and the challenges they are facing as they move forward in these uncertain times. They also gave us an updated breakdown of all active IAM members between Milwaukee and Appleton.
We have another call set up in the near future. We will continue to have open dialogue with Air Wisconsin and continue to keep the membership up to date with any new developments or information.
We appreciate your patience and continued support as we navigate this process. Do not hesitate to reach out to your negotiating committee with any issues or concerns in regards to this negotiation process. You are the boots and the ears on the ground for us and sometimes can hear things before they reach us.
Sincerely and fraternally,
John M. Coveny, Jr. President/Directing General Chair | Justin Bates General Chair | John Bidoglio General Chair |
