Dear Sisters and Brothers:
The District 142 executive board wants to extend a warm welcome to the IAM members from Hawaiian Airlines, formerly of District 141, to their new district, District 142!
This change is due to the merger of Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines, in which the majority of IAM members are in District 142, and consolidating the member groups under one District made the most sense.
The transition will be seamless for the membership. Both Districts worked together to transition all the dues records and rates into District 142. Please keep in mind your rates may change. If you have any questions or issues with your dues rates, please reach out to District 142 for assistance.
Your new District 142 representatives will be General Chair David Figueira and Vice President Derek Morton. All your local reps/shop stewards will remain the same. Please direct all questions to GC Figueria.
District 142 would like to thank District 141 President/Directing General Chair Mike Klemm for his guidance and assistance in putting this transition together.
