Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAM District 142 Negotiation Committee met with McGee Air Services the week of June 9th in Seattle, WA. Both sides were sincere and thoroughly engaged in the process, and tentative agreements were reached for the following sections:
- Section 6 – Seniority
- Section 7 – Union Representation
Due to the busy summer season, the next round of negotiations is scheduled to take place the week of July 28th, 2025, and future dates have been confirmed throughout the rest of the year.
Since our line of work falls under the Railway Labor Act, negotiations can be time-consuming. Our contract doesn’t expire; it becomes amendable, meaning the current contract remains in effect until a new one is ratified.
Your Negotiation Committee will continue to take your issues to the table, and we are determined to bring back the best possible contract for you to vote on.
As always, these bulletins and your committee members are the only source for negotiation-related news. Treat rumors as just that, rumors.
