Dear Sisters and Brothers:
District 142 members at Menzies ORD 403 have voted overwhelmingly to ratify a new Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The newly ratified agreement includes wage increases, a signing bonus, increases to Lead and Quality Control Technician differentials, an additional holiday, and improvements to mandatory overtime language.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our members at Menzies who were actively involved in the negotiation process and participated in one of our webinars in the week leading up to the ratification vote. Your interest and engagement helped us secure a contract that you were proud to vote for.
Your District 142 leadership will now begin working on the next steps in the process, including working with the company to ensure that contracts are printed and available promptly and that new contract language is implemented correctly and in a timely manner. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
