Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your District 142 Negotiating Committee was unable to meet in person this week due to severe weather across the country that disrupted travel, but we held productive meetings via Teams on January 27th and 28th.
We reached tentative agreements on nearly all open articles, enabling us to submit our first economic proposal to the Company. We believe that with continued cooperation from the company, we will be able to reach an agreement quickly.
Because your CBA expires on February 1st, 2026, we have agreed to and signed an extension with the company that allows you to continue working under your current contract without any interruptions or changes to benefits until we can establish a new agreement. We will keep meeting with the company and aim to reach an agreement that you will be proud to ratify.
Please remember that when a new tentative agreement is reached, union members will have the opportunity to vote on it. If you are not a union member, you can sign up at the following link: https://eforms.iamaw.org/memapp/DL142.
