Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAMAW District Lodge 142 Negotiating Committee met with Menzies Aviation leadership at District 141 Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois December 6 and 7, 2022. Discussions centered around wages and other open issues. The articles discussed were:
- Article 2: Scope of Agreement
- Article 7: Hours of Service
- Article 8: Overtime and Holidays
- Article 14: General and Miscellaneous
- Article 15: Sick Leave
- Schedule “A” Wages and premiums
While progress was made on some articles, we will be scheduling additional meeting dates soon. With the help of your negotiating committee, we are down to just a few open issues. With the continued support of our membership, we are optimistic that we can achieve the contract our membership deserves. With that we would like to wish everyone safe and happy holidays.
