Your IAMAW District Lodge 142 Menzies 474 negotiating committee met December 8 and 9, 2022, with the Menzies Aviation leadership at the IAMAW District 141 Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois to continue to negotiate a contract this membership deserves.
The proposals exchanged during these meetings were:
- Art 5 Seniority
- Art 23 Pension Plan
- Art 7 Hours of service
- Art 15 Sick Leave
- Schedule “A” Wage Rate Scales
- Art 8 Overtime and Holiday
- Art 17 Vacations
- Schedule “D”
- Art 14 General and Miscellaneous
It has become very apparent to your committee that the company does not want to acknowledge what this membership brings to the table; your dedication and professionalism is being completely ignored by this company.
We will be scheduling more dates in the beginning of the New Year to continue negotiations with the company. With your continued support we will strive to achieve a contract our members can be proud of.
District 142 wants to wish all our members a safe and happy holiday.
