Continuing from the progress of the last session, negotiations were conducted again this week between the IAM and PSA Airlines at the Company headquarters in Dayton, Ohio. All members of both negotiating committees as outlined in the last bulletin were present.
Discussions this week involved Articles 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15 and 17 with multiple exchanges of proposals between the parties occurring. The pace and tone of this week’s talks were again satisfactory and positive. This led to additional Tentative Agreements being reached in Articles 3, 10, 13, 14 and 17. This brings the total number of Tentative Agreements reached to date to 13 with 2 more being very close. This is significant as it shows that the dedication and preparation that your committee put in to these negotiations is paying off.
The next meetings for these negotiations will occur during the week of June 20, 2016 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Your Committee remains resolute about bringing these negotiations to a successful conclusion with an Agreement you are entitled to.
The only source for accurate information concerning negotiations will be from District Lodge 142 and will be released following each negotiating session. As always, if you have any questions about this process, please give me a call at (859) 653-4037 or email me at .
With best wishes, we remain
Sincerely and fraternally,
