IAM / PSA AIRLINES NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE

Continuing from the last negotiations session in August, negotiations were held this week in Dayton, Ohio.  Present for the Company was Matthew J. Kernan, Director of Flight Operations,  Karl Hanisch, Director of Maintenance and Anthony Bralich from F&H Solutions.  Present for the Union was James M. Samuel, General Chair, John Werkmeister, Special Representative and Committee Members Todd Roan, Ian Cole and Greg Farmer.

This week was again dedicated solely to all of the economic areas of the Agreement which are Articles 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 16, 18, 19, 21, 25 and 28.  On Wednesday, the Union made a second pass that covered all of the Articles listed above.  While there remains a significant divide between our positions, progress is still being made at working towards an agreement that we hope will treat you as you are, leaders in the regional industry.

With the upcoming holiday season shortening the available times to meet, scheduling conflicts and a medical issue concerning a company committee member, we will not be meeting again until after the New Year during the weeks of January 16 and February 6, however we do expect negotiations to progress quickly from that point.

Your Committee remains determined in bringing these negotiations to a successful conclusion with an Agreement containing an economic package representative of your contributions to the success of PSA and American Airlines.

The only source for accurate information concerning these negotiations will be from District Lodge 142 and will be released following each negotiating session.  As always, if you have any questions about this process, please give me a call at (859) 653-4037 or email me at ">.

With best wishes, we remain

Sincerely and fraternally,

James M. Samuel
