Dear Sisters and Brothers:
IAM District 142 leadership convened via videoconference on February 20, 2025, to prepare for the opening of contract negotiations for PSA Airlines Stores.
The PSA Stores group joined the IAM in September of 2024 after the majority of employees signed authorization cards and the National Mediation Board (NMB) authorized a representation vote.
During this first meeting, the Negotiating Committee was finalized, and a general discussion of the process and expectations was held. The negotiating committee will attend training for Negotiations Prep at the IAM’s William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, MD, in the near future. We will also be meeting at District 142 headquarters in PHX to begin the process of reviewing all the contract proposals sent in by our membership and to begin writing formal proposals that we will present to the company once negotiation officially starts.
