IAM / PSA AIRLINES
2021 NEGOTIATIONS SURVEY

With the call for proposals released, there is another invaluable communication tool to help with the proposals
that you are submitting. As was provided for in 2015 before negotiations began, we have worked together to
finalize and publish a survey. This survey will be instrumental in collecting data that is normally generated by
word of mouth and sometimes painfully extracted from proposals, with the issue being trying to understand
exactly what the intent of the proposal is, and more importantly, what is most important to the PSA Airlines
membership. It is extremely important that 100% of our membership take the time to complete the survey. As
you will see, this survey has been tailored to include as many things as possible that are relevant to your Collective Bargaining Agreement. We now need you to take advantage of this important communication tool.

This survey will be available online beginning today on the District Lodge 142 website at www.iamdl142.org.
Just look for the 2021 PSA Airlines Negotiations Survey text for the link. Based on the compressed timeline to
prepare for negotiations due largely to the pandemic, this online version is the most expedient way to complete the survey. The survey will be available from August 23, 2021 through close of business on September 8, 2021.  Following the completion of the online portion of the survey, the IAM Strategic Resources department will correlate the date. Survey results will be published later in this year.

Over the last couple of weeks, one of the consistent themes I have heard has centered on communications.
Communications always has been, and always will be important during negotiations. In most instances, the
questions have been answered in a bulletin and posted on the Union bulletin boards or shared by a Steward in
your station. It is important to remember to check the website and your Union bulletin board often or ask a
Negotiating Committee member or Shop Steward. For those of you that utilize electronic media, you can add
your personal e-mail address to the database for future communications. If you would like to be added to the
mailing list or to submit an e-mail address, you can always contact the District Lodge 142 office at (816) 452-
6646 or join online at www.iamdl142.org. If you have any questions about this process, please give me a call at
(859) 653-4037. With best wishes, I remain

Sincerely and fraternally,
