Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAM District 142 Negotiating Committee met with Qantas Airways Management the week of June 30 – July 2, 2025, in Los Angeles, CA, for the thirteenth round of direct negotiations.
Even though Tentative Agreements (TAs) were not reached during this session, the discussions were productive. Given the complexity and importance of the topics discussed, conversations between the Union and the Company were constructive and candid.
Articles discussed this session:
- Management Rights
- System Board of Adjustment / Arbitration / Grievance Mediation
- Timekeeping and Attendance
- Scope
We remain fully committed to securing our first collective bargaining agreement, one that protects our work, advances our interests, and delivers meaningful benefits to all our Sisters and Brothers.
Our next bargaining session is scheduled for the week of July 14 in Los Angeles, CA, at the Qantas Hangar.
As we head into the 4th of July holiday, we want to wish everyone a safe and fun-filled weekend. We also want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, solidarity, and camaraderie during this critical time.
Sincerely and fraternally,
