Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAMAW District Lodge 142 negotiating committee, along with Air Transport Territory Chief of Staff Edison Fraser, Airline Coordinator Tom Regan, Grand Lodge Representative Jeff Tobius and District 142 President-Directing General Chair John Coveny met with Southwest Airlines leadership this week in Washington, DC. We have made significant progress and are very close to a Tentative Agreement.
Your District 142 and Grand Lodge negotiating team will meet again Monday, October 17 and Tuesday, October 18, 2022, with the goal of finalizing the language and potentially presenting a Tentative Agreement to the membership to vote on in the near future. We will post another update at the conclusion of talks on Tuesday.
