Dear Sisters and Brothers:
It has come to our attention that the Company has taken the position of violating our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) by assigning mandatory overtime to Super Users out of order. Despite being fully aware of these violations, the Director of Labor Relations is permitting the Phoenix station, and potentially other stations, to disregard the clear language and protections outlined in our contract.
This is unacceptable.
Your Union remains committed to ensuring strict compliance with our CBA. We will continue to challenge and address any actions by the Company that undermine negotiated rights, seniority protections, or established processes.
Important Reminder:
Before volunteering your time or participating in Company-driven initiatives, check with your UNION to ensure you are not unintentionally supporting actions that violate our CBA.
Know your rights. Protect your rights. Use your Union.
Sincerely and fraternally,
John M. Coveny, Jr.
