District 142 is preparing to open contract negotiations with Swissport LAS in the first week of March 2026. The Company has agreed to extend the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) through the end of March to allow both sides time to prepare for these talks.
It is crucial that you sign up for email and text message alerts from District 142 before negotiations begin. To do so, visit the District 142 website, www.atd142.org, and click on the buttons to “Join Our Email List” and “Sign up for Text Messages.” This will ensure you receive timely updates directly from your union representatives and negotiating committee members about the progress and status of upcoming talks.
If you have not submitted your IAM membership application, it is crucial that you do so right away. Once a Tentative Agreement (TA) is reached with the Company, you can only participate in the contract vote if you are a member in good standing with the IAM.
