The parties met for Negotiations on May 2, 3, and 4, 2017 at the La Quinta Inn and Suites Appleton, WI. Present for the Company were Tina Vos, Managing Director Human Resources; Katherine Lessard, Tech Stores Ops Manager, and Ashley Krueger, Employee Relations Manager. Present for the Union were Jerry Lemke, General Chair, and Negotiating Committee Members, Sartchander Vemuri, and Mark Holtz.
Several proposals were exchanged between the parties, including Articles 6, 11, 15, 18, 31, and TBD-B Uniforms. Article 29 was reopened and a TA was agreed to. Discussions centered on full explanations behind each proposal. Dialogue between the parties was again positive and constructive.
The following Articles were tentatively agreed upon this session: Article 29.
On Thursday May 4, VP Jeffery Bethune joined the negotiations. Jeff presented a comparison between AWA and the other Regionals.
Negotiations will resume on June 27, 28, and 29 in Appleton, WI and September 12, 13 and 14 in Milwaukee, WI.
