The parties were scheduled to meet for Negotiations on June 28, 29 and 30, 2016 at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Essington, Pennsylvania. Present for the Company were Gary Pratt, VP Maintenance and Engineering; Tina Vos, Managing Director Human Resources; Mike McHargue, Director of Maintenance and Ashley Krueger, Employee Relations Manager. Present for the Union were Jerry Lemke, General Chair; Gary Vargo, Jason Saledas and Allan James Ross. June 30 was cancelled due to travel issues.
Several proposals were exchanged between the parties, including Articles 3, 4, 5, 6, 18 and TBD 1. A tentative agreement was achieved on Article 4. Discussions centered on full explanations behind each proposal. Dialogue between the parties was again positive and constructive. The following Articles have been tentatively agreed to 4, 11E, 13, 16, 17, 19, 21 22, 23, 30, and 31.
Negotiations will resume on August 3, 4, and 5 in Charlotte North Carolina. Future Negotiation meetings are planned on September 13, 14 and 15 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
