The parties met for Negotiations on March 28, 29, and 30, 2017 at the Holiday Inn City Center, Charlotte, North Carolina. Present for the Company were Tina Vos, Managing Director Human Resources, Randall Moulton, ORF Base Manager and Ashley Krueger, Employee Relations Manager. Present for the Union were Grand Lodge Rep Rich Johnsen, Jerry Lemke General Chair, Negotiation Committee Members, Gary Vargo, Jason Saledas, Seneca Harris and Allan James Ross.
During this round of Negotiations the Union presented the Company with a Letter of Agreement (LOA) concerning Retention of the MRP Work Group. This LOA was similar to the LOA that ALPA and the Company entered into to retain the Pilot group. The Company stated they had no interest in the LOA for the retention of the MRP Group.
Several proposals were exchanged between the parties, including Articles 5, 7, 9, 19, 20, 24, 34, TBD 1 Uniforms and the LOA Retention. Tentative agreements were achieved in Article 8 and 23 which was reopened at this meeting. The Union requested that the Company bring their Financial Group to the next round of negotiations.
Negotiations will resume on April 24, 25, and 26 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Future negotiation meetings are planned on May 23, 24, and 25 in Chicago, IL, June 20, 21, and 22 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and July 18, 19, and 20 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
