The parties met for Negotiations on April 24, 25, and 26 at the Hyatt Place Downtown, Charlotte, North Carolina. Present for the Company were Tina Vos, Managing Director Human Resources, Randall Moulton, ORF Base Manager and Ashley Krueger, Employee Relations Manager. Present for the Union were Grand Lodge Rep Rich Johnsen, General Chair Jerry Lemke, Negotiation Committee Members, Gary Vargo, Jason Saledas, Seneca Harris and Allan James Ross.
Several proposals were exchanged between the parties, including Articles 9, 20, 34, and TBD 1 Uniforms. A tentative agreement was achieved in Article 20.
At this point we have accomplished Tentative Agreements on Articles 3, 4, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 30, 31, 32 and 35.
On Wednesday April 26, 2017 SVP/COO Bob Frisch and VP Jeffery Bethune joined the negotiations. Jeff presented a comparison between AWA and the other Regionals.
Negotiations will resume on May 23, 24, and 25 in Chicago, Illinois. Future negotiation meetings are planned on, June 20, 21, and 22, 2017 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; July 18, 19, and 20, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois; and August 15, 16 and 17, 2017 location TBD.
