IAMAW/AIR WISCONSIN AIRLINES CORPORATION MRP NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE

The parties met for Negotiations on July 18, 19, and 20 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Schiller Park, IL. Present for the Company were Bob Frisch, COO, Janet Huculak VP, Tina Vos, Managing Director Human Resources and Randall Moulton, Regional Maintenance Base Manager ORF and CAE.  Present for the Union were Grand Lodge Representative Rich Johnsen, General Chair, Jerry Lemke, Negotiation Committee Members, Gary Vargo, Jason Saledas, Seneca Harris and Allan James Ross.

July 18, 2017 during the morning session there was an update from Bob Frisch about the United flying. They are still working on hangars and if the work will be farmed out.

The line stations will be ORD and IAD, Jeff Bethune gave a presentation on the Company’s costing for the ORD line station. The Sub-Contract Committee will be meeting August 1 in ATW to review the Company’s proposal which had the usual over manning both Union and Management.

July 19, 2017 the Company passed their counter comprehensive proposal that included the following Articles 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 33, 36, TBD 1 Uniforms, Growth LOA, and Retention Pay LOA. The Company did not counter Article 2. After the session closed for the day the District Lodge and the IAMAW Headquarters were given a briefing of the day’s events.

At this point we have accomplished Tentative Agreements on Articles 3, 4, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 30, 31, 32, 34 and 35.

Negotiations will resume on September 26, 27 and 28 CLT. Future Negotiation meetings are planned November 14, 15 and 16 ORD. The Company cancelled August 15, 16 and 17.
