PEDDLERS RIP OFF IAM MEMBERS, PLACE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS AT RISK

In 2014, IAM Local Lodge 2339H members voted to spend their dues money to send Flight Attendants to attend and participate in the IAM’s 2014 Legislative Conference in Washington DC.  Like other IAM Local Lodges, Local 2339H sent delegates to be active in the conference and be part of a coordinated effort to lobby Congress to improve the working conditions of all Flight Attendants.  Important legislation IAM members supported, included a mandatory 10-hour minimum rest for all Flight Attendants.

Unfortunately, the delegates, paid and directed by the membership of 2339H, had other ideas on how they would spend the member’s dues money in Washington, DC.  They never attended the Legislative Conference, not even for a minute.  Their week in D.C., paid for by their members, was spent following their own personal agenda.

These two delegates received  over $2,500 of ExpressJet Flight Attendants dues money to attend the conference, but failed to show up.

As a result of this theft, they were charged under Article 7 of the Grand Lodge Constitution for misappropriating dues money and were found guilty in an official trial of their peers.  Both have been consequently banned for life by the IAM’s General Secretary-Treasurer from holding any IAM office or representing IAM members.

Now that they have been stopped from getting access to your IAM dues, they want you to replace the IAM with a, fictional organization where they can control the money.  That is why their first order of business was to set up an online donation scheme so you can fund their next vacation.

DON’T LET THEM RIP YOU OFF.  DON’T LET THEM STALL NEGOTIATIONS. DON’T SIGN A CARD!
