Sisters and Brothers:
In seeking resolution with the company as it pertains to Conscientious Reporting, the company’s position is the flight attendants who utilized the preferential hiring program are not entitled to the ERJ Conscientious Reporting under the ERJ CBA. It is the Union’s position that the Preferential Hiring LOA only references the Conscientious Reporting section which the CRJ CBA does not have, therefore the preferentially hired flight attendant should fall
under the ERJ Conscientious Reporting.
The Union believes that this is a violation for those who participated in the preferential hiring
program.
The Union is in the process of filing an Et Al (group) grievance on behalf of the affected members. The Union believes that this is a violation of Section 3.W. and LOA 17 Preferential Hiring Program. We will keep you advised as this grievance progresses.
