As a follow-up to the last bulletin announcing a filing for mediation under the auspices of the National Mediation Board, we have been notified that the case has been docketed and NMB Mediators Jack Stephan and Mike Tosi have been assigned to IAM/PSA negotiations under NMB Case Number: A-14027 IAM-PSA. Although there is no expectation of formal meetings to begin before the New Year arrives, we will be having conversations with the Mediators to explain our position before the first meeting occurs sometime in 2023.
In addition, your negotiating committee is currently reviewing a rough draft of the “Universe Assessment” which we referenced in the previous bulletin. As soon as that review is complete, it will be released for your consideration. Until then, we appreciate your solidarity and patience.
We would like to encourage all our District 142 members at PSA to please sign up for our email list if you have not done so already. On the DL 142 website, atd142.org, click on “Join Our Email List” at the top of any page, fill in your information and be sure to check the box for “PSA.” We would also encourage you to sign up for text alerts from DL 142.
