We were contacted by several members about postings for available Flight Attendant positions at ExpressJet. In the multiple links we were provided, the ads listed positions in various cities across the US, many of which are not at any major airport. Some of these links even had ExpressJet spelled incorrectly.
I contacted Subodh Karnik, ExpressJet CEO, and he was not aware of any of these posts. After he had a chance to look at the actual posts, he too confirmed they were not associated with ExpressJet. Please be cautious regarding these kinds of web posting. Do not fall for these fake ads – they are just trying to get your personal information. Should ExpressJet begin operations, they are required to return furloughed members per Article 12C of the CBA. If you are affected by a recall to work, ExpressJet will contact you.
