Negotiations continued at Southwest Airlines Headquarters Dallas, Texas August 13 – 15, 2019. This week started with discussions surrounding Article Ten (Part-time and Temporary Employees). This prompted additional work by your committee. In addition, further work was required with Articles, Four (Definitions); Six (Hours of Service) and Seven (Overtime). The team remains focused on the integrity of this Collective Bargaining Agreement as well as the memberships proposals and surveys.
The next scheduled session is September 3 – 6, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. Tentative dates have been set through October 2019.
