Attention all IAMAW District Lodge 142 members at Southwest Airlines.
The ratification vote for the new Tentative Agreement is being administered by a 3rd party company called “BallotPoint”. They will be sending mailers to our SWA members’ home addresses, as provided by the company, starting this week. The mailers contain the information you need to cast your vote for the ratification of the tentative agreement. The information will include the website address and a unique code for each person. As soon as the mailer arrives you will be able to vote online. Voting will close on December 15, 2022 at 4:00pm EST. We should know the results by the end of the day on the 15th.
Below you will find an image of the envelope coming from BallotPoint. PLEASE DO NOT THROW THIS AWAY. You will need the contents of the envelope to vote.
While participation in the ongoing road shows has been tremendous, as well as the two days of Zoom webinars, we know there are a lot of SWA members who may not have had a chance to participate or they are not on any of the social media pages. Please use whatever means you have to reach out to your fellow members and share this post and especially the image of the BallotPoint mailer.
